- Payment Data: Billing information (processed securely via Stripe). Towmatic does not store or have direct access to sensitive payment details such as full credit card numbers.
- Support & Communications: Emails, chats, or other correspondence between you and Towmatic.

16. Mobile Application Privacy
Applies to: All mobile applications published by Five Star Automation LLC, dba Towmatic, available on Google Play and the Apple App Store.
Data Collected Through the Apps
When you use a Towmatic-powered mobile booking application, we may collect the following information:
- Booking Information: Name, phone number, email address, pickup location, drop-off location, and vehicle details entered through the tow booking form.
- Device Information: Device type, operating system version, and device identifiers used to ensure proper app functionality.
- Location Data: We collect your precise GPS location when you tap the location button to automatically populate your pickup address. Location is only accessed at the moment you tap the button and is not collected passively, tracked in the background, or stored beyond your active booking session.
- Usage Data: App interaction data used to improve performance and user experience.
How App Data is Used
Information submitted through any Towmatic-powered booking app is transmitted directly to the towing company whose app you are using, via the Towmatic dispatch platform. This data is used solely to process and fulfill your tow service request.
Location Permission
Towmatic-powered apps will request permission to access your device's location when you use the GPS pickup button. You may deny this permission and enter your pickup address manually instead. Denying location permission will not prevent you from using the booking form. On Apple devices, you will be prompted to allow location access "Only Once," "While Using the App," or "Never" — we recommend selecting "While Using the App" or "Only Once" for the best booking experience.
Third-Party Sharing
Data collected through the apps is shared only with the towing company you are booking with and the Towmatic dispatch platform. We do not sell or share your information with any other third parties.
Push Notifications
If you opt in to push notifications, your device notification token will be stored to deliver booking confirmations and service updates. You may opt out at any time through your device or app settings. Both Android and iOS users can manage notification preferences through their device settings at any time.
Data Deletion Requests
Users may request deletion of their personal data submitted through any Towmatic-powered app by contacting us at info@towmaticai.com. We will process eligible requests within 30 days.
Children's Privacy
Towmatic-powered mobile applications are not intended for use by individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors through the apps.
